when you pass your mentor ~ dean kosage

It should be a goal of any real mentor to have their student surpass them one day . However I am saddened by how few mentors have created a path way for this to happen. In fact the mentors ego can often times blind them , and thus even miss the fact that their student has caught them . When a right of passage in not in place to allow this transfer to take place , a tearing apart typically occurs .

This is in regards to what everything not just what I experienced in WW. It is a issue that has been around since the dawn of time. Many people deal with this in many industries and families.
Unfortunately yes this also did happen to me in WW.
My actual sponsor however is wonderful and allowed a right of passage to take place. However there where others that found it hard to have a single person catch them, or to pass along the torch to the next generation.
Is this in regard to WW mentors in your life?
